Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil and mash a mix of vegetables like potatoes, cauliflower, peas, and carrots.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and pav bhaji masala. Cook until tomatoes are soft and oil separates.
  • STEP 4.Add the mashed vegetables to the pan and mix well. Add water if needed to adjust the consistency.
  • STEP 5.Simmer the bhaji for a few minutes, allowing the flavors to blend. Add salt and butter for extra taste.
  • STEP 6.To serve, heat the paav buns on a griddle with butter. Serve the hot bhaji with the buttered paav, garnished with chopped onions, coriander leaves, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
