Ingredients for Paal Payasam Recipe

  • 0.40 liter Milk
  • 1/5 cup Sugar
  • 0.60 Rice handful
  • 0.40 tablespoon Ghee
  • 0.80 liter Water
  • 3 No.s Cashew nuts
  • 1/10 teaspoon Cardamom powder

Directions: Paal Payasam Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add 4 litres of water into it. Boil the water.
  • STEP 2.Once boiled add 2 litres of milk and mix well.
  • STEP 3.On a low flame continuously stir and boil the mix till it reduce half the quantity
  • STEP 4.Add washed 3 handfuls of rice into the mix.
  • STEP 5.Bring to boil in a low flame.
  • STEP 6.When the mix turns light brown shade, add 1 cup of sugar and boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Turn off the flame. Garnish with ½ tsp of cardamom powder and roasted cashews.
