Ingredients for Oyakodon Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Dashi
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sake
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1/4 thinly sliced onion
  • 1 piece cut into bite size chicken thigh
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 green onion, thinly sliced
  • As required Steamed Rice

Directions: Oyakodon Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a pan add dashi,soy sauce,sugar,sake and mirin

step 2

  • STEP 2.Heat until it starts boiling

step 3

  • STEP 3.Add onion and cook for 1min on medium heat

step 4

  • STEP 4.Add chicken and cook until the meat is cooked

step 5

  • STEP 5.In a bowl beat egg and pour it over the chicken

step 6

  • STEP 6.Cook for 1min

step 7

  • STEP 7.Serve the chicken and egg with rice in a bowl

step 8

  • STEP 8.Garnish with green onions
