Ingredients for Orotti Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Roasted rice flour
  • 0.19 cup Grated coconut
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 cup Water

Directions: Orotti Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Mix 2 cups of roasted rice four, ¾ cups of grated coconut and pinch of salt in a bowl.
  • STEP 2.Pour into the mix hot water little by little to form dough.
  • STEP 3.Keep aside the dough for half an hour covered with lead
  • STEP 4.Unlid the cap and knead the dough well.
  • STEP 5.Spread an oil paper on the surface of the chapathi maker. Grease the oil paper with a spoon of ghee.
  • STEP 6.Divide the entire dough into separate medium sized balls,
  • STEP 7.Place each ball of dough on the chapathi maker and press it down to get orotti
  • STEP 8.Preheat a griddle on the stove at high flame. Once the griddle is hot, turn down the flame to medium heat and cook the orottis tossing the sides.
  • STEP 9.When the orottis turn a pale golden shade, you can transfer it to a serving dish.
