Technique 1. Maker normal batter. Next day post fermentation SCOOP OUT gently the top portion to make desired iddlies. Balance shut it and leave it for fermetation. Ingredients for Onion tomato uthaapa Recipe

  • As required Uthapa Batter :
  • 3/4 cups rice cuop urad dal wash several times and soak in water sepratly.
  • As required To urad dal add half tsp methi dana.
  • 4 nos hours later grind together and mix with hand not spatula and let it ferment for hours.
  • As required Next day SCOOP DESIRED qty for iddly.
  • As required DO NOT ADD SALT TO REMINDER.
  • As required SHUT AND LET IT FERMENT.
  • As required Second day scoop qty for dosa. Cover and let it ferment.
  • As required Third day add one tsp Aashirwad salt.
  • As required Cut one onion and tomato finely.
  • As required Cut coriander finely.
  • As required One cup oil to tava fry.
  • As required Amul orother butter.

Directions: Onion Tomato Uthaapa Recipe

  • STEP 1.On day three or on day one. Add salt to the fermented batter.
  • STEP 2.Cut one onion into 2
  • STEP 3.With a shrp knife insert its roun surface and te open surface dip in oil and smear the girdle.
  • STEP 4.Keep the flame to high.
  • STEP 5.Remove with a ladle scoop of batter - do not add lot of water it sould be thick.
  • STEP 6.put it in centre of girlde and let is spread.
  • STEP 7.use 2 ladles
  • STEP 8.mix onion tomato and coriander and spead it on the top face of the uthappa.
  • STEP 9.press it gently with ladle so tat veg enters in.
  • STEP 10.when craters or small holes appear on face spread cheese. Sprinkle oiland
  • STEP 11.turn over.
  • STEP 12.cook the veg side for 5 min.
  • STEP 13.Cut into 4 with spatula
  • STEP 14.put some cheese inside the cuts and spread the uthapa
  • STEP 15.remove and serve.
