  • 680 gram jumbo raw shrimp
  • 5 tablespoon vegetable oil divided
  • 3 No.s cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 No.s large white or yellow onion
  • 1 No.s large orange or red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 No.s basil leaves large
  • 2 tablespoon chopped cilantro or parsley
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk
  • 0.33 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika optional
  • 170 gram cream cheese softened
  • 1 No.s red jalapeno pepper thinly sliced

Directions: One Pot Shrimp With Coconut Sauce Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 - take some peeled shrimp in a bowl with oil, one garlic clove, salt, and black pepper.

  • STEP 2.2 - mix it well and let marinate.

  • STEP 3.1 - heat oil in a skillet and cook onions and bell peppers in it for about 3 minutes.

  • STEP 4.2 - to this add 2 garlic cloves and cook for about 1 minute.

  • STEP 5.3 - once your garlic is cooked add the canned diced tomatoes, cilantro and basil to it.

  • STEP 6.4 - cook it for about 2 minutes.

  • STEP 7.5 - transfer the cooked vegetables to a blender and blend it into a coarse mix.

  • STEP 8.6 - add some oil to the skillet and cook marinated shrimp in it till it turns pink.

  • STEP 9.7 - add coconut milk, broth, ginger, lemon juice, salt, pepper vegetables, and paprika to a blender and blend everything well.

  • STEP 10.8 - to this add cream cheese and stir until it melts and the sauce becomes creamy and homogeneous.

  • STEP 11.9 - add cooked shrimp to the skillet and coat it.

  • STEP 12.10 - garnish with basil leaves, chopped cilantro and slices of red jalapeno pepper.
