  • 1/4 teaspoon Mixed herbs
  • 1/4 flakes Red chilli tsp
  • 3/4 cup Red rice
  • 1/4 cup Yellow capsicum diced
  • 1/4 cup Red capsicum diced

How to Make One Pot Red Rice No Onion No Garlic Recipe

STEP 01

In a preheated saucepan add 1 tbsp olive, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, ¼ tsp mixed herbs and ¼ tsp red chilli flakes. Saute for 15 to 20 seconds.

Add ¾ cup red rice and saute on low heat for 1 minute.

Add 2 cups of water, salt to taste and mix. Bring to a boil on high heat for 15 to 20 minutes.

Then add ¼ cup diced yellow capsicum, ¼ cup diced red capsicum, 1 medium tomato diced. Mix well.

STEP 01

Continue to cook for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes till the water is completely absorbed by the rice. Red rice will be perfectly cooked.
