The word pasta in Latin means dough pastry cake.This Easy One-Pot Pasta is the perfect weeknight dinner – uncooked pasta, veggies, and sauce combine and cook together in one pot in only 20 minutes!

Ingredients for One Pot Pasta Recipe

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs
  • 1 No.s Chopped Onion
  • 1 teaspoon grated garlic
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 cup penne pasta
  • 3 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • As required Black olives
  • 4 tablespoon parmesan cheese
  • As required Basil leaves

Directions: One Pot Pasta Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. In a pan take olive oil, butter, chilli flakes and italian herbs. Saute it for 30 seconds.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Add 1 chopped onion and saute it for 3-4 minutes.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3. Now add 1 tsp grated garlic and cook it for 1 minute.

  • STEP 4.4. Pour the tomato puree, salt and black pepper in the pan. Mix well and cook it for 5 minutes.

  • STEP 5.5. Add 3 cups of water in the pan along with the penne pasta and stir it.

step 6

  • STEP 6.6. To this add ½ tsp italian herbs. Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 7.7. After 10 minutes pour half a cup of heavy cream into the pan and add black olives and parmesan cheese.

step 8

  • STEP 8.8. Cover and cook for 5 more minutes.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9. Add some fresh basil leaves on top and your quick pasta is ready.
