STEP 1.1. In a pan take olive oil, butter, chilli flakes and italian herbs. Saute it for 30 seconds.

STEP 2.2. Add 1 chopped onion and saute it for 3-4 minutes.

STEP 3.3. Now add 1 tsp grated garlic and cook it for 1 minute.

STEP 4.4. Pour the tomato puree, salt and black pepper in the pan. Mix well and cook it for 5 minutes.

STEP 5.5. Add 3 cups of water in the pan along with the penne pasta and stir it.

STEP 6.6. To this add ½ tsp italian herbs. Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.

STEP 7.7. After 10 minutes pour half a cup of heavy cream into the pan and add black olives and parmesan cheese.

STEP 8.8. Cover and cook for 5 more minutes.

STEP 9.9. Add some fresh basil leaves on top and your quick pasta is ready.
