Ingredients for Ogbono Soup Recipe

  • 1 cup ogbono
  • 4 cup stock beef or chicken
  • As required Meat
  • 1 cup Stock Fish
  • As required Salt
  • 2 Nos stock cubes
  • 1/2 tablespoon red chilli flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Crayfish
  • As required Ugwu Kale
  • 3/4 cup Periwinkle
  • 0.33 cup palm oil

Directions: Ogbono Soup Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Blend ogbono seeds and keep it aside in a bowl.

step 3

  • STEP 2.1.boil cow meat, beef along with some chopped onions,red chilli flakes, seasoning powder and salt as per taste.

  • STEP 1.Cover the pot with the lid and cook it for about 20 minutes. After 20 mins add stockfish (boneless)in the boiling pot and cook it for 5 minutes.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Then add blend ogbono mixture,periwinkle,crayfish and palm oil. Add water as per the desired consistency and cook it for 10 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 3.6. Lastly,add the ugwu leaves,mix it and cook it for a minute.
