Ingredients for Oatmealpoha Recipe

  • 40 grams Wheole Instand Rolled Oats
  • 2 g Onion
  • 2 g reen chillies
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 g Small potato
  • 2 g Carrot
  • 1 g Tomato
  • 4 tablespoons Roasted Peanuts (
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 As Required Coriander leaves
  • As Required Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Oil

Directions: Oatmealpoha Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Heat Riceband oil in a heavy bottomed pan or a wok. Add the mustard seeds and curry leaves . Now add onions and ginger and green chillies and sauté over medium heat till light brown in colour.
  • STEP 2.2.Once the onions are tender, add the tomatoes, Carrots , Potatoe ,oats, turmeric powder, salt and sugar.
  • STEP 3.3.Turn the heat to low flame and allow the vegetable poha to cook in the steam along with the vegetables. This will take about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • STEP 4.4.At this stage turn off the heat and stir in the juice from one lemon and add the coriander leaves. Check the salt and seasonings and adjust to suit your taste and garnish with pomegranate pearls.
  • STEP 5.5.The oatmealpoha with rosted peanuts and coriander is now ready to be served as a healthy breakfast or tea-time snack.Key
