STEP 1.Take water in a bowl and add 2 cup raw rice. Soak it for 3-4hrs. Wash it and drain off the excess water.
STEP 2.Wash and soak 1 cup poha in water.
Cooking Directions
STEP 1.Take a jar and add rice, soaked poha and 1/2cup water. Grind it. Make sure to grind the rice in batches.
STEP 2.In the last batch, add 4tbsp sugar and ½ tsp yeast. Grind well.
STEP 3.Cover it and let it rest for 3-4hrs.
STEP 4.Grease a plate or mould. Place it in the steamer and add pour 6ladle batter. Cover it and cook it in high flame for 20mins.
STEP 5.Take vattayappam out of the steamer.
STEP 6.Let it cool down. Transfer it to a serving plate.
STEP 7.No coconut vattayappam is ready to be served
