How to Make Nigerian Stewed Beans/ewa Riro Recipe

Clean, wash black eyed beans. Cut bell pepper in three parts . In a pot add black eyed beans followed by bell pepper, habanero pepper onion and roasted turkey wing. Now add 6 cups of water and cover it with a lid and boil for 45 minutes. Then take it out on a plate. Blend the bell pepper, habanero pepper and onion.

Cut the smoked turkey into pieces and discard the bones. Then add the shredded turkey into the pot along with ground paste. Add salt as per taste, seasoning powder, crayfish and palm oil. Mix it all. Cook it at low flame for 2 minutes. Serve the stew hot with some plantains.
