An easy snacks prepared from deep fryimg eggs enclosed with a dough. Nigerian egg rolls as the name implies are basically boiled eggs that are wrapped in the dough and deep fried immediately. They are round in shape as the dough is wrapped aroung the eggs. Nigerian egg balls are a perfect evening snack recipe to satisfy your hunger panks.

Ingredients for Nigerian Egg Balls Recipe

  • 2.50 cup All purpose flour
  • 6 Nos eggs for egg rolls
  • 1 Nos beaten egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

Directions: Nigerian Egg Balls Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take a bowl add in 2 cups of flour, add in sugar,nutmeg and baking powder mix it well and add melted butter to it.

  • STEP 1.Add in 1 cracked egg, milk and make a dough Make a sticky dough,cover it with a plastic and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

  • STEP 1.After 15 mins knead the dough for a minute.

  • STEP 1.1. In a pot add water,eggs and boil it for 10 minutes, peel the boiled eggs. Drizzle some dry flour onto the work surface and cut it into 6 parts

  • STEP 2.4. Now put an egg into each dough portion and enclose it.

step 11

  • STEP 1.Add oil in a pan & heat it. Place the egg balls into the hot oil and fry it until golden brown.
