Ingredients for Nigerian Asaro Recipe

  • 1/2 Nos Yam medium sized Puna
  • 1 Nos Onion medium sized
  • 1.50 Starter Sauce a blend of peppers, tomatoes, and Onions
  • 1/2 cup Palm Oil of fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Crayfish
  • As required Water
  • As required Crab Meat
  • As required Parsley or any Leafy vegetables

Directions: Nigerian Asaro Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Peel off the yam and cut it into pieces and in a cooking pot add water and boil yam for 15 mins

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add in starter sauce.onions,crayfish,stock cube,salt and let it cook for 15 minutes at low flame

step 5

  • STEP 1.Add in the crab meat, mash the yam with a masher and allow it to cook at low flame for 15 minutes and serve.
