How to Make Nentra Kaya Mezhukupuratti Recipe

step 1

STEP 01

in a pressure cooker and 4 chopped plantains, ½ cup water and a pinch of salt.

STEP 01

cook till the first whistle blows.

step 3

STEP 01

crush 3 garlic, 2 shallots and 2 dry red chili in a mortar.

step 4

STEP 01

set a pan on the stove with cooking oil. Splutter ½ tsp mustard seeds.

step 5

STEP 01

add the crushed mix and a few curry leaves. Saute till the mix turns a pale brown color.

step 6

STEP 01

add ½ tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp chili powder. Saute till the raw smell of chili powder is completely gone.

step 7

STEP 01

now transfer the cooked plantains. Saute for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.

step 8

STEP 01

turn off the flame and garnish with few curry leaves.
