STEP 1.*Cut banana into half and steam it in a steamer till it becomes soft.
STEP 2.*Remove the outer skin and black seeds inside. Mash till fine paste.
STEP 3.*Heat 1 tsp. ghee in a heavy bottom pan and fry mashed banana for 5 mins.
STEP 4.*Add jaggery syrup, stir well.
STEP 5.*When starts boiling reduce the flame and add coconut milk, stir continuously for 4-5 mins. then springle cardamom pdr. stir well and remove from the flame.
STEP 6.*Heat ghee, fry coconut pcs, cashew, raisin till golden brown and add to the payasam.
STEP 7.*Tasty traditional pazhaprathaman is ready to serve.
