Ingredients for Nawabi veg curry Recipe

  • 0.80 cups Mixed vegetables
  • 0.30 cup Tomatoes
  • 1/20 cup Warm milk
  • a pinch Saffron
  • 0.30 cup Onion
  • 1.20 pieces Whole almonds
  • 1.20 pieces Whole cashews
  • 0.30 tsp Cumin
  • 0.30 tsp Coriander
  • 1/5 tsp Poppy seeds
  • 1/5 tsp Aniseed
  • 1/5 tbsp Ginger
  • 1/5 pieces Green chilli
  • 0.80 pieces Dry Red Chillies
  • 1.20 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 0.40 pieces Cardamom
  • 1/5 pieces Black cardamom
  • 0.60 pieces Cloves
  • 1/5 inch Cinnamon
  • 1/10 tsp Stone flower
  • 1/10 tsp Pepper corns
  • 0.80 tbsp Coconut
  • 0.40 tbsp Curry leaves

Directions: Nawabi Veg Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil vegetables.
  • STEP 2.Cook tomato in 1/4 cup water. Make puree when cool.
  • STEP 3.Soak saffron in milk , keep covered aside.
  • STEP 4.Starting from onion in the ingredients list add everything to a grinding jar & grind to smooth paste using least water.
  • STEP 5.Heat 5 tbs oil in a pan. Add a pinch asafoetida n 1/2 tsp turmeric. Add ground paste and fry till it leaves oil. Add tomato puree, salt n jaggery/sugar. Boil. Mix in boiled veggies, saffron milk. Cook on low flame for 10 min.
  • STEP 6.Turn off heat..serve with rotis.
