Ingredients for Nawabi paneer Recipe

  • 50 g Paneer cubes
  • 3/4 pieces Big onion
  • 1.50 pieces Garlic cloves
  • 2.50 pieces Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 pieces Green chilies
  • 1/2 tablespoon Watermelon seeds
  • 3/4 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 3/4 pieces Cloves
  • 1/4 Inch Small cinnamon stick
  • 3/4 g reen Cardamom
  • 1/4 Pieces piece Bay leaf
  • 0.13 cup Whisked curd
  • 2.50 A Few Strands saffron
  • 0.13 cup Milk
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kitchen king masala
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kasoori methi

Directions: Nawabi Paneer Recipe

  • STEP 1.1) Soak saffron strands in milk and keep aside.
  • STEP 2.2) In a pan heat approximately 1 cup water. Add sliced onions, green chilies, garlic cloves, cashew nuts and watermelon seeds. Boil for 5-7 minutes.
  • STEP 3.3) Cool down and grind in mixer grinder and make paste.
  • STEP 4.4) In a pan heat ghee. Add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamom and cumin seeds.
  • STEP 5.5) When cumin changes color, add prepared paste and saute on low flame until ghee separates. Add whisked curd and saffron milk. Mix well. Cook for couple of minutes
  • STEP 6.6) Add black pepper powder, kitchen king masala and kasoori methi. Add salt and some water if required. Cover with lid and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
  • STEP 7.7) Add paneer cubes and cook for couple of minutes.
  • STEP 8.8) Delicious Nawabi paneer is ready to serve. Serve with nan, paratha or roti.
