  • 1/2 Nos chicken
  • 2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 3 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Nos tomatoes
  • 2 Nos pandan leaves
  • 4 sprig curry leaves
  • 4 sprig coriander leaves
  • 2 stick Nos cinnamon
  • 4 Nos anise stars
  • 6 piece Cardamom
  • 3 Nos large onion
  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon
  • 2 tablespoon palm sugar
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 2 packets beef curry powder
  • 4 Nos garlic cloves
  • 1 Nos onion
  • 3 inch ginger

How to Make Nasi Kandar Recipe

STEP 01

Cut tomato into four pieces

STEP 02

Wash chicken and marinade it with salt and turmeric.

STEP 03

Keep the marinade chicken for 30 mins.

STEP 04

Deep fry the chicken until golden brown.

STEP 05

1.add oil in a pan & heat it.

STEP 06

2.add sliced onions and saute it.

STEP 07

3.now add pandan leaves,curry leaves, cinnamon,cardamom,anise star and fry until fragrant

STEP 08

4.whisk the curry paste into water until blended.

STEP 09

5.add the curry paste to the pan and whisk continuously until well blended and fragrant.

STEP 10

6.cook for 15 mins at low flame.

STEP 11

7.then add soy sauce,tomato sauce,sugar,broth and salt as per taste.

STEP 12

8.let the gravy thicken and add the fried chicken.

STEP 13

9.cook at low flame until gravy thickens and then add fresh tomato and coriander leaf
