Nam Tok Moo is one of the most satisfying pork dishes of all time. It hits on every sense with every bite and will be something you just cant get enough of.

Ingredients for Nam Tok Moo Recipe

  • As required Marinate
  • 4 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon crushed palm sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 500 gram Pork butt
  • As required Dressing
  • 4-5 Shallots
  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1.50 toasted rice powder
  • 1 Lime Juice
  • As required Herbs
  • 3-4 stalk Sea coriander
  • 1 stalk spring onion
  • 1 cup Mint

Directions: Nam Tok Moo Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Pound the pork pieces so that it becomes a little thinner and easier to cook and in a mixing bowl add 1 tbsp fish sauce, 1 tbsp crushed palm sugar, 1 tsp black pepper and mix that all well, mash the palm sugar and stir it till dissolved. Add the mashed pork and apply the marinade on both sides and keep it for 15-20 minutes.

  • STEP 1.Cut the shallots into small wedges. Slice the coriander stalks and green onions Cut the pork steak into bite-size pieces.

  • STEP 1.Dressing- now in a bowl add 3 tbsp fish sauce, 1tbsp palm sugar, 1-2 tbsp chili powder, 1 ½ toasted rice powder, and 1 lime juice. Stir and mix all the ingredients.

  • STEP 1.Take a frying pan and add 2 tbsp cooking oil, with the help of a kitchen napkin remove the extra moisture and pork steak to the pan. Fry the pork evenly from both sides. Keep them aside, after a while you’ll see juice falling off.

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add the pork pieces and the juice, then add in the dressing, wedge shallots mix them, add the herbs and bruise mint leaves and mix all of them.
