Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.First, peel and slice the lotus stems into thin rounds.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and chopped onions. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the sliced lotus stems and cook for a few minutes. Then, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Cover the pan and let the lotus stems cook on low heat until they become tender.
  • STEP 5.Finally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
