Ingredients for Nadan Ellunda Recipe

  • 1 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 1 piece Jaggery
  • 4 tablespoon Water
  • As required Coconut A handful

Directions: Nadan Ellunda Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat a kadai and add sesame seeds and roast it in medium flame. Let it cool down.
  • STEP 2.Heat a kadai and pour ¼ cup of water into it. Add jaggery and let it melt. Turn off the flame and transfer it to a bowl. Filter it and let it cool down.
  • STEP 3.Heat a pan and add a handful of grated coconut and roast it in medium flame until the raw smell of coconut is no more.turn off the flame. Keep it aside.
  • STEP 4.Take a jar and add the sesame seeds. Grind it coarsely. Add the roasted coconut in the jar and crush it. Transfer it to a bowl and add the jaggery solution. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Make small balls with the mixture.
  • STEP 6.Nadan ellunda is ready to be served.
