Ingredients for Mysore Bonda Recipe

  • 0.30 Cups Refined flour
  • 1/10 Cup Rice Flour
  • 1/10 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/20 Cup Curd
  • 1/5 Cup Water
  • 1/5 Handful Finely chopped onion
  • 1/5 Tsp Finely chopped Green chilli
  • 1/10 Inch finely chopped ginger
  • As Required Finely chopped curry leaves
  • 1/5 Tsp Salt
  • 1/20 Tsp Baking soda
  • 0.08 Litre Refined oil

How to Make Mysore Bonda Recipe

STEP 01

In a large bowl take 1.5 cups Maida, 1/2 cup Rice flour, 1 tsp Cumin seeds, 1/4 cup Curd and 1 cup water.Mix well

STEP 02

Now add 1 small-sized chopped onion, 1 chopped Green chilli, 1/2 inch Ginger (finely chopped) , few Curry leaves (finely chopped), 1 tsp Salt/as per taste and 1/4 tsp Baking soda.

STEP 03

Mix well in one direction.

STEP 04

A thick and mixture is ready. Now, cover and rest it for 15 mins. After 15 mins stir it again. Now dip your hand in the water and pinch a ball sized batter.

STEP 05

Drop in hot oil, keeping the flame on low to medium.

STEP 06

Stir it and fry until the bonda turns golden brown and crisp.

STEP 07

Transfer them onto a plate and enjoy with coconut mint chutney..
