Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Add the mutton pieces to the marinade and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • STEP 3.Thread the marinated mutton pieces onto skewers, alternating with bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
  • STEP 4.Preheat the grill or barbecue to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
  • STEP 5.Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the mutton is cooked through and slightly charred.
  • STEP 6.Serve the Mutton Shashlik hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
