Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a pressure cooker, heat oil and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • STEP 5.Add mutton pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 6.Cook for a few minutes until the mutton is browned.
  • STEP 7.Add water and pressure cook until the mutton is tender.
  • STEP 8.In a separate pan, heat ghee and add finely chopped onions.
  • STEP 9.Cook until the onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 10.Add the cooked mutton along with the gravy and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 11.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
