STEP 1.Make a paste using all the ingredients for marinating and apply this paste all over the mutton and let it marinate for about 8 hours.
STEP 2.Finely chop the garlic and green chilies for the curry.
Cooking Directions
STEP 1.Heat some oil in a pan and temper a few dried red chilies, bay leaves, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon in it.
STEP 2.Add the sliced onions and fry well until brown and then add chopped ginger, garlic and green chili paste to it.
STEP 3.Add the mixed spices and marinated mutton to the pan and mix everything well.
STEP 4.Beat some yogurt and add to the same pan. Add some salt, sugar and water to the pan and mix well.
STEP 5.Cook under cover until the mutton gets brown, add some chopped green chili, some water and cook it until the mutton becomes tender
STEP 6.Serve with pulao or rice.
