  • 125 gram Minced Mutton
  • 1/4 Onion, Grated
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 Green Chili, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 Onions, Chopped
  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Directions: Mutton Kofta Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix minced mutton, grated onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chili, coriander leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Shape the mixture into small balls and set aside.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • STEP 4.In the same pan, add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • STEP 6.Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Add the fried koftas to the gravy and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to fry the koftas until they are golden brown to ensure they are cooked through.
  • You can adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • For a richer gravy, you can add a tablespoon of cream or yogurt.
