Mutton handi Recipe

Recipe By Slurrp

Mutton Handi is a popular Pakistani dish made with tender mutton cooked in a rich and flavorful gravy. The dish gets its name from the traditional handi, a clay pot used for cooking. The mutton is marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt, then slow-cooked to perfection. The result is a melt-in-your-mouth meat dish with a thick and aromatic gravy. Mutton Handi is often served with naan or rice and is perfect for special occasions or family gatherings.

Cooking Tips

  • You can adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • If you don't have a handi, you can use a deep pan or a pressure cooker for cooking the mutton.

Storage and Serving

  • Leftover mutton handi can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat the mutton handi in a pan or microwave before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and ginger slices for an extra burst of flavor.
