Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the mutton pieces with a mixture of red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated mutton pieces to the pan and cook until they are browned and cooked through.
  • STEP 4.Add tamarind pulp, jaggery, and a little water to the pan. Cook for a few more minutes until the flavors are well combined.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to marinate the mutton pieces for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to penetrate.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
