Mutton & curry leaves biryani is a south indian style special biryani recipe. It doesn’t contain garam masala or biryani masala. This biryani is loaded with the flavors of curry leaves and my special kongu style coriander powder.

  • 125 gram mutton / lamb meat
  • 1/2 1/2 seeraga samba rice basmati rice soaked in water for 20 mins
  • 1/4 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoon kongu style coriander powder
  • 1/4 cup Mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon curd / yogurt
  • 10-15 curry leaves
  • 1.50 dry red chilies
  • 1 green chilies
  • 1/2 medium sized onion chopped
  • 1/2 Juice from lemon
  • As required Salt
  • 2 tablespoon groundnut oil
