Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Cook the rice and let it cool.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once they splutter, add curry leaves and green chilies.
  • STEP 3.Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix well. Add salt and turmeric powder.
  • STEP 4.Turn off the heat and let the rice cool down slightly.
  • STEP 5.Add yogurt to the rice and mix well. Adjust the consistency by adding water if needed.
  • STEP 6.Season with salt and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • STEP 7.Serve the mustard flavored seasoned curd rice chilled or at room temperature.
