Ingredients for Mushroom Tikka Recipe

  • 1/4 cup curd
  • 1 tablespoon besan / gram flour, roasted
  • 0.13 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon cumin powder / jeera powder
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 0.13 teaspoon ajwain / carom seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • As required Salt
  • As required Vegetables
  • 5 No.s small mushrooms
  • 1/4 No.s onion, diced
  • 0.13 No.s capsicum, cubed
  • 0.13 No.s red bell pepper , cubed
  • 1.50 teaspoon oil, for roasting
  • pinch chat masala

Directions: Mushroom Tikka Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a large mixing bowl take ½ cup of curd, 2 tbsp of besan / gram flour, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ¼ tsp cumin powder / jeera powder, 2 tbsp lemon juice.
  • STEP 2.Add ½ tsp garam masala, ¼ tsp ajwain / carom seeds, 2 tsp oil, ½ tsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves, ½ tsp ginger garlic paste and salt to taste.
  • STEP 3.Mix well to form a thick batter .
  • STEP 4.Then add 10 small mushrooms, ½ diced onion, ½ diced capsicum.
  • STEP 5.Mix gently coating the marinade sauce over the vegetables.
  • STEP 6.Cover the marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Then insert the marinated mushroom, capsicum and onions into skewers.
  • STEP 8.Roast it on a hot tawa and spread a tsp of oil over the tikka. Or grill in the oven or tandoor.
  • STEP 9.Roast on medium flame and keep turning the skewer.
  • STEP 10.Sprinkle chat masala over the tikka and serve mushroom tikka hot on a plate.
