  • 125 gram Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • as per your need A Few Curry Leaves
  • 1/2 Onion, Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and slice the mushrooms. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • STEP 3.Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture. Then, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  • STEP 4.Mix well and cook for a few minutes until the mushrooms are cooked through and the spices are well incorporated.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot as a side dish or with rice or roti.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to clean the mushrooms properly before slicing them.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • For a richer flavor, you can also add coconut milk or grated coconut to the dish.
