Ingredients for Murg Musallam Recipe

  • 1/4 Kg Whole chicken
  • 3/4 Tbsp Curd
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cumin
  • 3/4 Tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 Tsp Garam masala
  • 12.50 g Oil
  • 3/4 Pieces Tomato
  • 3/4 Pieces Onion
  • 1.25 Pieces Green chilli
  • 3.75 Pieces Cashew nuts
  • 1/2 Tbsp Melon seeds
  • 1/2 Pieces Cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaves
  • 3/4 Pieces Dry red chilli
  • 25 g Chicken keema
  • 1/2 Pieces Boiled eggs
  • As Required Chopped chilli
  • As Required Rose water
  • As Required Kaora water
  • 1/2 Tbsp Fresh cream

Directions: Murg Musallam Recipe

  • STEP 1.With the help of a knife make some slits on chicken so that masala can enter the deeper layer & it can be cooked uniformly.
  • STEP 2.Now make a mixture of curd, 1tspn each turmeric powder, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, biryani masala, cumin-coriander powder & 1tbspn ginger garlic paste.
  • STEP 3.Marinate the chicken with this masala paste & keep rest in fridge for at least 4 to 5 hours. For better result marinate it overnight.
  • STEP 4.In a mixing jar take cashew nuts, almond , 2green chilli & boiled onion. Make a smooth paste of it. Keep aside.
  • STEP 5.Heat 2tbspn oil in a pan. Add 4 to 5 green chilli & dry red chilli. Fry it for few seconds & then add chopped onion & 1tbspn ginger garlic paste. Cook it till soft.
  • STEP 6.Add salt, turmeric, red chilli, cumin- coriander powder & garam masala. Mix it well.
  • STEP 7.Add chicken means, mix it with spice. Cover it & let it cook.
  • STEP 8.Once it's cooked, add boiled fried egg & mix with masala. After few minutes take out the eggs.
  • STEP 9.In another pan, heat 1/2 cup of oil & fry the marinated whole chicken from all sides. Don't over cooked. Once it's done take out from pan.
  • STEP 10.Stuff the whole chicken with chicken means & eggs.
  • STEP 11.Take out extra oil from kadhai. Heat just 2tbspn oil & add cashew paste in it. Add salt, turmeric ,red chilli, biryani masala. Fry it for few minutes.
  • STEP 12.Add fresh cream.
  • STEP 13.Tie the chicken legs and wings with a clean thread to maintain the shape.
  • STEP 14.Add the stuffed chicken in kadhai , cover it & cook it from all sides. It will take 45 to 50 minutes.
  • STEP 15.Add rose water & kora water.
  • STEP 16.Switch off the flame.
  • STEP 17.Enjoy....
