Ingredients for Murg Kali Miri Recipe

  • 100 grams Chicken
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 Pieces reen Chilli
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 2.50 Pieces Pepper corns
  • 1/2 Pieces Small cinnamon stick
  • 1.25 tsp Salt
  • 1.50 tbsp Curd
  • 1/2 tsp crushed pepper corns
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger garlic
  • 1/2 A Bunch Small bunch fresh coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions: Murg Kali Miri Recipe

  • STEP 1.marinade chicken with salt + curd + ginger garlic paste + 1 tsp freshly crushed pepper corns
  • STEP 2.marinade for 30 - 40 minutes
  • STEP 3.assemble other ingredients
  • STEP 4.make a slurry of corn flour and water , keep aside.
  • STEP 5.in moderately heated pan add butter, add bay leaf + cinnamon + pepper corns and allow to sizzle, lower flame and then add marinaded chicken.
  • STEP 6.shallow fry chicken pieces till golden brown under low to medium flame .
  • STEP 7.gradually chicken releases its own water, add green chilli and cook under high flame for 3-4 minutes.
  • STEP 8.By now chicken has turned soft, add corn flour mix and mix well.
  • STEP 9.cook for 4-5 minutes under low to medium flame, add 1/2 tsp pepper powder or freshly crushed pepper + salt as required.
  • STEP 10.gravy thickens, add chopped coriander and stir well.
  • STEP 11.keep in stand by mode for 2 minutes and dish is ready.
  • STEP 12.Murg KalinMiri is ready to serve.
