Moringa leaves are rich in various nutrients like protein, vitamin B6, Vitamin C and iron. It also contains healthy antioxidants. Research says that moringa leaves have 7 times more vitamin C than oranges and 15 times more potassium than bananas. It has 3 times more iron than spinach. This helps to boost your Immune system. It also has calcium, protein and amino acids which helps build muscle and body heal. Antioxidants in it protects cell from damage. Because of it's health benefits and nutrients, it is considered as a powerful Super food. Here, I have prepared a very healthy paratha using moringa leaves.

Ingredients for Multigrain Moringa Paratha Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup moringa leaves (washed and chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup jowar (sorghum) flour
  • 1/4 Cup bajra (pearl millet)flour
  • 0.13 Cup wheat flour
  • 1/4 Cup curd
  • 1/4 Tsp green chilli paste
  • 1/4 Tsp ginger paste
  • 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
  • A Pinch Pinch of asafoetida
  • 1/2 Tbsp oil
  • To Taste Salt
  • As Required hee for cooking paratha

Directions: Multigrain Moringa Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Mix all flours, add turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt , chilli paste, ginger paste, oil and moringa leaves, mix and crumble.
  • STEP 2.2. Add curd and knead medium hard dough. If needed can add water or more curd.
  • STEP 3.3. Divide dough in equal lemon sized balls.
  • STEP 4.4. Roll it with the help of dry flour.
  • STEP 5.5. Heat skillet , cook paratha little from both sides without adding ghee.
  • STEP 6.6. Then add ghee and cook from both sides. Continue with rest dough balls.
  • STEP 7.7. Serve hot with your choice of veg curry or it tastes good with pickle and curd.
  • STEP 8.Note:
  • STEP 9.1. You can add caravan/carrom seeds, sesame seeds and garlic if you like.
