Multigrain beetroot crackers Recipe

Here is healthy option for high tea, snacks, kitty parties or anytime munching. Good for weight watchers too as it is baked not fried. Along with key ingredient Beetroot,I use multi grain flour & oats to make these crackers more healthy.

Ingredients for Multigrain beetroot crackers Recipe

  • 1/4 Cups all purpose flour or plain flour (maida)
  • 1/4 Cup multi grain flour
  • 0.13 Cup rolling oats
  • 1/4 Cup boiled beetroot puree
  • 1/4 Tbsp baking powder
  • 3/4 Tbsp curd
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 1/4 Tbsp carom seeds
  • 1/4 Tbsp roughly grinded black pepper
  • As Required Salt to taste

Directions: Multigrain Beetroot Crackers Recipe

  • STEP 1.1. Mix both the flours. Make well & add baking powder & pour curd over it. Keep at least for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 2.2. Boil beetroot & make its puree in advance.
  • STEP 3.3. Now mix curd & baking powder with flour then add oil& mix properly.
  • STEP 4.4. Add oats, carom seeds& pepper along with salt.
  • STEP 5.5. Now knead dough with beet root puree. Knead dough medium, not soft not hard. Cover it & keep it for some time.
  • STEP 6.6. Now roll it ,prick it with fork & cut it in your choice of shape.
  • STEP 7.7. In pre heated oven at 200° C temperature bake these crackers for 10 minutes. Then turn around crackers & bake for 5 minutes more.
  • STEP 8.8. Let it cool & store in air tight container.
  • STEP 9.Notes:
  • STEP 10.1. Can add your choice of spices.
  • STEP 11.2. Keep an eye , while baking, as temperature may vary in different ovens.
