  • 0.08 cup Jaggery, Grated

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak green gram overnight and grind it into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix the green gram paste, rice flour, grated coconut, jaggery, and cardamom powder.
  • STEP 3.Add water gradually and mix to form a thick batter.
  • STEP 4.Heat a pitha pan or a non-stick pan and grease it with oil.
  • STEP 5.Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circular motion to form a round shape.
  • STEP 6.Cook on medium heat until the edges turn golden brown. Flip and cook the other side.
  • STEP 7.Remove from heat and serve hot with tea or as a dessert.
