Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat your oven to175°C. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • STEP 2.In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for 2-3 minutes until it forms a smooth paste. Gradually add the milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Continue to cook and whisk until the mixture thickens.
  • STEP 3.Add 2 cups of mozzarella and the parmesan cheese to the milk mixture, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Season the cheese sauce with salt, black pepper, and any optional spices like paprika or garlic powder.
  • STEP 4.Combine the cooked macaroni and cheese sauce in a large mixing bowl, ensuring the pasta is well coated. Transfer the macaroni and cheese to a greased baking dish. If desired, sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top and add breadcrumbs for a crispy crust.
  • STEP 5.Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and the cheese is bubbly. Allow the Mozzarella Macaroni and Cheese to cool for a few minutes before serving.
