Ingredients for Motichoor Ladoo Recipe

  • 1/4 Cup Bengal gram(channa dal)
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 0.06 Litre Oil -For frying
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ghee - for frying
  • 0.13 Teaspoon cardamom powde
  • 1/4 Teaspoon kismis
  • 1/4 Pinches Natural kesari color or saffron strands
  • 0.06 Cup Water

Directions: Motichoor Ladoo Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak channa dhal for 2 hours
  • STEP 2.Drain water and blend it coarsely
  • STEP 3.Heat oil and fry blended channa dhal . Need not deep fry . Once it turns crispy both the sides remove from flame. Make sure to fry on medium/ low flame
  • STEP 4.Allow it to cool down for sometime. Once done blend it to fine powder
  • STEP 5.Make sugar syrup until one string consistency
  • STEP 6.Add food colour, cardamom powder , kismiss (fry it in ghee before adding)
  • STEP 7.Add blended channa dhal powder
  • STEP 8.Keep stirring once the channa dhal powder absorbs sugar syrup completely.
  • STEP 9.Turn off the flame and let it cool down for sometime
  • STEP 10.Apply oil in both the palms . Take small portion of mix and make balls
  • STEP 11.Yummy Motichoor ladoo is ready !!!
