  • 1/5 cup Moth Beans
  • 1/5 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 0.40 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/5 inch Ginger, Grated
  • 0.40 tablespoon Coriander Leaves, Chopped
  • 1/5 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/5 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/10 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

  • STEP 1.Soak moth beans overnight and boil until tender.
  • STEP 2.Drain the beans and mash them coarsely.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, and spices to the mashed beans.
  • STEP 4.Mix well and shape the mixture into small patties.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
