This spicy verion of Morocaan orange salad is just amazing, It spicy and musty. this is a fruit salad like nothing you’ve ever had before, I promise! With fresh juicy oranges paired with earthy oil cured olives, tons of fresh parsley and a burst of cayenne, this unusual Middle Eastern citrus salad will blow you away. This stunning and healthy salad can be made all year round, and it will be a burst of sunshine during the winter months when citrus season is in full swing. It’s low carb, gluten free, and vegan.

  • 2-3 Oranges
  • As required Handful of black olives
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Juice of a lemon
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • As required Hot chili pepper
  • As required Salt

  • STEP 1.Firstly start by peeling and sectioning the oranges, then using a sharp knife, cut the ends of each orange, slice the peel off.

  • STEP 2.Gently sawing motion, remove the orange segments in between the two membranes. Then cut into pieces.

  • STEP 3.Squeeze the remaining membranes to get all the excess juice in a separate bowl, then keep on the side for using it later.

  • STEP 4.Next, slice the black olives and prepare the vinaigrette. Lastly, grate the garlic cloves.

  • STEP 5.In a mixing bowl combine orange juice, lemon juice, olive oil, grated garlic, paprika, ground cumin, hot chili pepper for a kick, and salt, mix well until well combined.

  • STEP 6.Lastly, place the orange pieces in a large mixing bowl, add the olive slices, and mix them in the spicy vinaigrette.

  • STEP 7.Serve cold and sprinkle some more chili pepper on top only if you want it to be spicier.
