Ingredients for Moroccan Orange Walnut Salad Recipe

  • 2-3 Oranges
  • 1 Lettuce
  • 1/2 cup raw unsalted walnuts
  • As required For the dressing
  • 1/4 cup Fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • pinch Salt

Directions: Moroccan Orange Walnut Salad Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Take a sharp knife and cut the ends of each orange, then slice and peel off the sides, with a gentle sawing motion, slice the orange pieces in between the two membranes.

  • STEP 2.Squeeze the remaining of the membranes to get all the excess juice in a separate bowl and keep on the side we will use it later.

  • STEP 3.Let’s prepare the lettuce, remove the outer layers of the lettuce and discard it, chop the bottom of the lettuce, peel the leaves, and slice the lettuce.

  • STEP 4.Place the lettuce in a large mixing bowl and add the orange pieces to it.

  • STEP 5.Now for the salad dressing take a small bowl add the orange juice, fresh lemon juice, olive oil, orange blossom water, sugar, and a dash of salt, and stir them until well combined.

  • STEP 6.Add the dressing to the lettuce and oranges, then top them with raw walnuts to add some crunch. Toss them well and serve.
