  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • As required Vegetable Oil For Frying

Directions: Moroccan Hash Brown Recipe

  • STEP 1.Start by peeling the potatoes, and then place it in a bowl of water so it does not turn brown.

  • STEP 2.Using the large holes of a grater, grate the potatoes or slice the potatoes as thinly as possible

  • STEP 3.In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg, and add salt, pepper, and garlic.

  • STEP 4.The final step is to squeeze the grated potatoes to get rid of the excess water they release, place them in a large mixing bowl, add the egg mixture, and mix them thoroughly.

  • STEP 5.Add oil to a pan to deep fry and heat it on medium-high heat.

  • STEP 6.Reduce the heat to medium flame and place little bits of potato mixture and fry from both sides evenly and until they turn golden brown. Place the fried potatoes on a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

  • STEP 7.Serve instantly with ketchup!
