How to Make Moroccan Hash Brown Recipe

STEP 01

Start by peeling the potatoes, and then place it in a bowl of water so it does not turn brown.

STEP 02

Using the large holes of a grater, grate the potatoes or slice the potatoes as thinly as possible

STEP 03

In a separate bowl, lightly beat the egg, and add salt, pepper, and garlic.

STEP 04

The final step is to squeeze the grated potatoes to get rid of the excess water they release, place them in a large mixing bowl, add the egg mixture, and mix them thoroughly.

STEP 05

Add oil to a pan to deep fry and heat it on medium-high heat.

STEP 06

Reduce the heat to medium flame and place little bits of potato mixture and fry from both sides evenly and until they turn golden brown. Place the fried potatoes on a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

STEP 07

Serve instantly with ketchup!
