#snack Drumsticks are most commonly used vegetable in Indian house holds. Drumsticks as well drumsticks leaves also have lots of nutrients and health benefits. Moringa olifera is the scientific name of drumsticks tree, originated from the tropical and sub tropical regions if South Asia. Slightly bitter tasted moringa leaves are packed with calcium, protein, iron, vitamin C , beta carotene. These all nutrients make these leaves good pack of health benefits such as lower blood sugar level, helpful in weight loss and high blood pressure and for healthy hair too. In spite of lots of health benefits we should consume it in moderate amounts to avoid heart burns, upset stomach and nausea. I have tried to make Matharis using these healthy leaves, which turned out delicious. Info source: Internet
