Ingredients for Moringa Dal Curry Recipe

  • 100 gram Toor Dal
  • 2 glass Water
  • 2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2.50 tablespoon Oil
  • 5 No.s Dry red chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Raw rice
  • 1/2 tablespoon Cumin seeds
  • 3 tablespoon Coconut
  • As required Handful of Moringa leaves
  • 10 No.s Black peppercorns
  • 1 glass Tamarind water
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1 Urad dal spn
  • As required Few curry leaves
  • 3/4 tablespoon Salt

  • STEP 1.Preparations for paste

  • STEP 2.Put toor dal and 2 glass of water in a cooker.

  • STEP 3.Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and ½ tsp oil.

  • STEP 4.Cook until the cooker whistles 3 times.

  • STEP 5.Add 4 dry red chilli in a pot and fry for 2 mins.

  • STEP 6.Prepare a paste of red chilli,raw rice,cumin seeds,grated coconut and add some water.

  • STEP 7.Cooking for tadka

  • STEP 8.1.add and heat 2 tbsp oil.

  • STEP 9.2.add 1 tsp mustard seeds

  • STEP 10.3.add 1 spn urad dal

  • STEP 11.4.few curry leaves

  • STEP 12.5.1 dry red chilli

  • STEP 13.6.fry for a min

  • STEP 14.1.add 1 tsp turmeric powder in ¼ glass water and boil it for a minute.

  • STEP 15.2.then add a handful of moringa leaves and black peppercorns and cook for 3 mins.

  • STEP 16.3.now add grinded paste and cook for a min on medium flame.

  • STEP 17.4.add tamarind water,1 glass of water and cook for 2-3 mins.

  • STEP 18.5.then add cooked dal,¾ tbsp salt and cook for 2 mins.

step 24

  • STEP 19.6.now pour the tadka onto the curry.

step 25

  • STEP 20.7.mix well.
