Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to soak the dals for at least 4-5 hours to ensure they are soft and easy to grind.
  • Do not grind the dals into a fine paste, as a coarse texture adds to the crunchiness of the pakodas.
  • Adjust the spice level according to your preference by adding more or less green chilies.
  • For a healthier version, you can also shallow fry the pakodas instead of deep-frying them.

Storage and Serving

  • Moong Urad Dal Pakodas are best served hot and fresh.
  • If you have leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • To reheat, place the pakodas in a preheated oven or air fryer for a few minutes until they become crispy again.
