  • 1/4 cup Semolina
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak moong dal for 2 hours. Drain the water and grind it into a coarse paste.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan and add the moong dal paste. Cook on low heat until it turns golden brown and aromatic.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, dry roast the semolina until it turns golden brown and fragrant.
  • STEP 4.Add the roasted semolina to the cooked moong dal paste and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add sugar and water to the mixture and cook until the halwa thickens.
  • STEP 6.Add cardamom powder and mix well. Garnish with chopped nuts.
  • STEP 7.Serve the Moong Suji Halwa warm and enjoy!
