A healthy and diabetic friendly soup made with green moong lentils that keeps you full and your taste buds tickling for more. It is also a great way to detox your body when consumed alone.
Ingredients for Moong soup (green gram soup) Recipe
1/2 cup moong water
2 tsp 4-5 tsp
1/2 tsp Ghee
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 inch Pinch asafoetida
1/2 tsp Lemon juice
0.13 tsp Turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Pani puri masala
1/4 tsp Black paper powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Fresh coriander leaves
Directions: Moong Soup (green Gram Soup) Recipe
STEP 1.First of all boil the over night soaked moong in a cooker.
STEP 2.Now take 4 tsp moong and 1 cup moong water. Heat a sauce pan add ghee, cumin seeds, Asafoetida and immediately add moong with water. Add dry masala, salt and water as required. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
STEP 3.Finally, add pani puri masala, black paper powder and lemon juice and serve it hot after garnishing with fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!!!
