  • 1/2 cup Sprouted Moong Beans
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Fenugreek Leaves
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak moong beans overnight. Drain the water and let them sprout for a day.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and chopped fenugreek leaves. Cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add the sprouted moong beans, salt, and water. Cover and cook until the moong beans are tender.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.

Cooking Tips

  • You can add other vegetables like tomatoes, carrots, or potatoes to enhance the flavor and nutrition of the dish.
  • To reduce the bitterness of fenugreek leaves, you can blanch them in hot water before adding them to the dish.
  • If you don't have sprouted moong beans, you can use soaked moong beans instead. Just cook them for a longer time.
